​What to expect

Your fishing in Alaska! Expect the trip of a life time. You will be fishing some of the most famous fishing waters in the world. These areas are home to an abundance of wildlife. Be sure to bring a camera because its not uncommon to see eagles and moose along the float. Your guide will have a great knowledge of fishing as well as be familiar with the local history and wildlife on these waters. Expect to begin full day trips early in the morning (4:00am-5:00am) and get off the water around noon to early afternoon. You will want to bring along snacks, rain gear, fishing license, and a camera. 

​Tour departure

Tours will depart from the Kasilof public boat launch at 109.5 Sterling Highway. From Soldotna drive on Sterling highway about 12.5 miles (heading towards Homer) until you see the Kasilof bridge then turn left immediately right after the bridge. Once you get to boat launch your guide will be waiting at the water with the new Sledge Outfitters wood grain wrapped drift boat. Your guide will contact you at least 48 hours in advance to confirm departure location.
